MEET LARRY!
Experienced Leadership Delivering Results for the Eastern Panhandle
I am a retired public administrator, arbitrator, mediator, and criminal justice professional. My work history includes stress management counselor, sex offender therapist, and employee advocate and trainer.
Public service has been my calling to help my fellow West Virginians have and maintain their quality of life. I feel strongly the need to use my legislative background and expertise to protect your personal freedoms from an ever encroaching federal government on our civil liberties. I served in the West Virginia House of Delegates (Berkeley-Morgan counties) from 2010-2015 and again from 2018-2020.
I have lived in the Falling Waters community for over the last 30 years.
During that time I immersed myself in local civic and charitable endeavors such as the Farm Bureau, Assembly of Governmental Employees, American Society of Public Administration, American Society of Association Executives, the Falling Waters Battlefield Association, Friends of North Berkeley Library, West Virginia Citizens Defense League, National Rifle Association, West Virginians for Life, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I am married and devoted to my lovely wife, Cheryl, and blessed with thirteen wonderful children, both biological and adopted.
Principles over politics is my guiding mantra. I am a battle-tested and liberty minded Christian conservative. Personal integrity, accountability, and transparency is my stock in trade. As a former Delegate, I had over 75 legislative proposal co-sponsors from the 100 member West Virginia House of Delegates. I forged good working relationships in my time in Charleston with House members as well as the leadership of both Republicans and Democrats.
Even with those legislators whose political philosophy differs from mine, I have had a cordial and respectful working relationship. However, my heart belongs to all the people of the new District 94. I pledge to stand up for your rights as citizens and any issues that concern you and your family.
I would consider it an honor and privilege to serve as your District 94 citizen legislator.
